PENA FOR PURE WASTE -shirt collection. Pentti Järvelin is a Finnish skateboarder and known for his podcast “Skeittauksesta”. Our aim at Pure Waste is to minimize waste, but we make mistakes as well. Over the years we saved all our reclamation shirts, just to wait for the right moment for them to be upcycled into new products. We collaborated with Pena to make a collection is made out of those shirts. We covered the old prints with a new one and by doing so we managed to recycle these shirts twice! The print design is made by Tuukka Kovasiipi, a friend of Pena.

• Treat stains with gel, Marseille soap or baking soda before wash.

• For odour removal, we recommend soaking in spirit vinegar before wash.

• Wash with similar colours.

• Turn garment inside out, place in a microfibre washing bag.

• Machine wash at 40° C on normal cycle. Maximum spin cycle is allowed.

• Use an ecological and fragrance-free detergent. Vinegar is an excellent ecological fabric softener.

• Dry on a finger-wide hanger rather than in the dryer. It saves energy. Steaming preferred. If ironing, use only medium heat.
